This heavy-duty Art Deco style holds up beautifully after all these decades! The silver tone metal back of the stones on both the bracelet as well as the earrings are as solid today as the day these were made. The turquoise stones are open-backed both on the bracelet as well as the earrings. We're not experts on turquoise, but these stones have that expected dull-intensity that glass and plastic never exhibits. We don't think the metal shows tarnishing which means it's surely not sterling but some light darkening appears here and there perhaps just from the metal's age and probably from the wearing of them back in the day. NO cracks and NO breaks appear in any stone or silver-toned metal.
